Medical Director - Small Animal Veterinarian

Parry Sound, ONPosted 3 days ago
Full-time or Part-timeonsite

Job Description

Georgian Animal Hospital in Parry Sound is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, and we’re looking for a Medical Director who wants to be part of building something meaningful.

This is not a “maintenance” leadership role. It’s a hands-on opportunity for a DVM who enjoys shaping culture, elevating clinical standards, and helping a motivated team turn good medicine into great medicine. We are in motion-clinically, operationally, and physically-with upcoming renovations designed to better support workflow, patient care, and team efficiency.

Our technical team is strong, engaged, and eager to work at the top of their skillset, and our support staff bring a deep connection to the Parry Sound community alongside fresh energy and new perspectives. It’s a unique blend of long-standing local relationships and newer team members who are excited about where the clinic is heading.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable being fully embedded in day-to-day clinical practice while also leading by example to guide standards, mentorship, and team development. This role is ideal for a leader who values spectrum of care medicine, enjoys building structure where needed, and is energized by helping both patients and people thrive.

Scheduling is flexible (16–36 hours per week depending on preference), with the goal of supporting both clinical impact and sustainable work-life balance.

If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can truly influence the next chapter of a growing practice-and be part of shaping how it evolves-we’d love to connect.
