About the Role
We’re looking for a Hair and Makeup Artist to join our on-model studio team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing and maintaining hair and makeup for talent during fast-paced photoshoots, ensuring all looks align with client style guides and creative direction.
What You’ll Do
- Style and maintain hair and makeup for models during studio sessions
- Perform touch-ups to keep talent camera-ready throughout shoots
- Work across a variety of hair types, textures, and skin tones
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and production team to achieve desired looks
- Stay attentive on set and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and tools
What You Bring
- Professional training and/or certification in hair and makeup artistry (cosmetology preferred)
- Experience in a studio, on-set, or high-volume production environment
- Strong understanding of diverse hair and makeup techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Flexible availability based on shoot schedules
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the day (cement studio floors)
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs
- Repetitive hand use (steaming, pinning, prepping, tagging)
- Ability to work in active studio and warehouse environments
Work Environment
- Fast-paced E-Commerce production studio
- On-set and warehouse environment
- Work performed under production lighting and active shoot conditions
