Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Associate, Global Brand Operations will support the development and implementation of scalable processes, tools, and training programs across Mattel’s Global Brand organization. Reporting to the Director of Global Brand Operations, this role will flex across global brand ops supporting the Brand, Toy and Commercial Ops leaders with standardization and training.
This position plays a critical role in embedding consistent ways of working into daily practice—ensuring workflows are documented, templates are maintained, tools are adopted, and teams are equipped with the knowledge and clarity needed to execute with excellence.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, systems-minded, and energized by creating clarity from complexity.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Process & Documentation Support
- Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across Global Brand functions.
- Maintain and update workflow documentation to ensure alignment with evolving organizational needs.
- Support governance frameworks, role clarity materials, and decision-making models.
- Help identify process gaps and opportunities for optimization.
Tools & Template Management
- Build, organize, and maintain standardized templates, toolkits, and playbooks.
- Ensure brand planning, campaign development, creative briefing, and partnership workflows are supported by clear and accessible tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and continuously refine resources.
- Manage version control and accessibility of shared operational assets.
Training & Enablement
- Support the creation of training materials and onboarding resources for global marketing teams.
- Coordinate workshops, tool rollouts, and learning sessions.
- Track adoption and engagement with tools and training programs.
- Serve as a go-to resource for day-to-day operational questions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy & Activation, Franchise Marketing, Brand Creative, Brand Partnerships, Toy Marketing, Design, Development and Commercial Marketing to support workflow clarity.
- Partner with the Brand Transformation team to help embed new capabilities into daily operations.
- Support project tracking and ensure key milestones and deliverables are met.
Reporting & Measurement
- Track KPIs related to process adoption and operational effectiveness.
- Compile updates and summaries to support leadership reporting.
- Help analyze feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing operations, brand marketing, business operations, project management, or related field.
- Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments preferred.
- Exposure to process documentation, workflow tools, or training development is a plus.
Skills & Capabilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Systems-oriented thinker who enjoys building structure.
- Clear communicator with the ability to translate complex information into simple tools.

*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
