GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a growing litigation and trial firm in Beverly Hills who is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join its accounting and operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a professional services environment while working closely with experienced leadership and receiving hands-on mentorship.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting. Prior law firm billing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong billing or administrative experience from other professional services environments are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and process client invoices
- Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with client guidelines
- Enter and verify time entries and billing information
- Assist with invoice edits, revisions, and billing follow-up
- Maintain organized billing records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal team members regarding billing inquiries
- Support basic accounts receivable follow-up as needed
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of work from multiple sources
- Assist with administrative and operational billing tasks
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of billing, accounting support, or administrative experience
- Professional services or law firm experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience with billing software or e-billing platforms is a plus
- Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
