The Opportunity
A Partner Engineer, Voice AI (Automotive) is a skilled software engineer who collaborates with automotive customers/partners to enable the seamless integration of our voice AI. They own the alignment of partner requirements, help identify integration risks/friction points, and support voice AI platform enhancements.
The role requires strong software engineering skills (including knowledge of key programming languages and concepts, design methodologies, etc.) to adapt to partner needs, plus exceptional communication skills for engaging partners to resolve roadblocks, align timelines, and gather feedback.
This engineer manages multiple focused concurrent projects, using reliable time management and prioritization to balance partner deliverables and internal milestones, while collaborating cross-functionally.
What You'll Do
- You will act as the primary technical point of contact for our Automotive partners, and are expected to provide expert-level support and guidance in handling complex issues and requirements related to integrating our voice AI solutions.
- You will build strong relationship with the partners, and act as the main go-to person when Automotive partners have questions about our products or have trouble integrating our solution. You will be an expert in a large number of subjects, ranging from new ASR language developments, Agents creation, wake words, audio processing pipelines, infrastructure issues, etc.
- You will have the first responsibility to investigate and troubleshoot issues using our tools and provide the necessary fixes on the partner side, if possible, and if needed, escalate issues to the engineering team with your initial detailed analysis, as well as providing concrete and actionable feedback.
- You will work closely with Technical Program Management (TPM), Engineering, and Product teams to work on system improvements, feature requests, and inform about emerging customer needs.
What You'll Bring
- You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Your experience in technical program management includes Linux, Python, C++, ASR as well as knowledge of AI technologies.
- You have demonstrated an ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, managing complex projects in a dynamic, international environment.
