Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Accounting Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Sales & Profit by generating and ensuring accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with the Country goals. Guarantee tax and VAT declarations and payments corresponding legal demands. Ensure liquidity. You support the country to have Great People & Teams by managing and leading the accounting department team according to H&M values and guidelines.
You will:
- Generate and ensure accuracy and legal conformity of required accounting reports. Collaborate, establish procedures, and follow up with other departments to ensure timely reporting.
- Manage and execute recruiting, training, developing and succession planning for the accounting department team. Ensure that all employee relation responsibilities are fulfilled.
- Guarantee tax and VAT payments according to legal demands. Generate cash flow forecast and ensure liquidity.

As an Accounting Manager, you’ll work closely with Country Controller and external auditors, authorities This is a full-time position, this role will be reporting to Regional Accounting Manager – APAC.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- CA/ACCA/ AICPA qualified with a minimum of 7 years accounting experience
- A strong team‑player mindset, with the ability to coach, support, and collaborate effectively across functions
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experienced in SAP, VIM and Concur
- Retail industry experience & Big 4 background are considered an advantage

- A strong communicator with proven stakeholder management skills, including engagement with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Highly analytical, with strong problem‑solving capabilities
- Passionate about problem solving, process improvement and driving meaningful change
