Job Description
We’re looking for a Technology Risk and Controls Analyst to join our Technology Risk and Controls function, supporting the management of technology risk across the organisation.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with technology, cyber security and risk teams, contributing to strong, effective risk management and control practices that support our customers and the wider business. You’ll play a hands‑on role in helping us identify, assess and manage technology risks, while continuing to develop your skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Monitoring and maintaining key technology controls, ensuring they are effective and appropriately evidenced
- Supporting the identification, tracking and resolution of technology risk issues, audit actions and remediation plans
- Contributing to technology risk and control self‑assessments, supplier assessments and thematic reviews
- Supporting control testing, assurance activity and preparation for internal and external audits
- Gathering, reviewing and maintaining high‑quality risk and control evidence to support compliance and assurance
- Supporting the application and understanding of technology policies, standards and regulatory requirements
- Working collaboratively with technology teams, control owners and risk partners to embed strong risk management practices
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in technology risk, governance, controls or assurance within a complex environment
- Experience supporting or performing technology control testing and assurance activities
- Knowledge of regulatory or compliance expectations within financial services or similar sectors
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines
- Clear and inclusive communication skills, with confidence working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn, develop and contribute to a positive risk culture
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
