Our Truck Drivers are the vital link to our independent Dealers and their stores – providing that valuable connection that ensures we deliver the industry-leading home improvement experience our customers expect. Led by the Dispatch Supervisor, this opportunity will suit someone who is an experienced truck driver with a track record of delivering on time, safely, and with a customer-oriented mindset.
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
- Complete DZ straight truck routes as your primary assignment. Provide AZ Coverage as needed to support business needs.
- Building relationships with our independent Dealers as an ambassador for Home Hardware Stores Limited.
- Loading Dealer returns for transport to the Distribution Centre.
- Complying with all government regulations described in the professional Driver’s Manual.
- Operating vehicles in a safe and professional manner, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and inspecting the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Completing and delivering all necessary paperwork using on-board technology as required, along with light computer work and data entry.
We’re looking for:
- Class A driver’s license with Z Endorsement with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
- High school diploma.
- 1-2 years of similar experience preferred with a good safety record.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to carry out deliveries throughout Ontario and Quebec.

- Typically, drivers in this role earn between $70,000 and $100,000 annually.
- Earnings are based on a combination of per-kilometre rates, pick-up and delivery fees, flat-rate allowances, hourly rate for downtime or wait time, and other work-related pay components.
