Job Description
You will be responsible for the local implementation and enforcement of company HSE policies, procedures and life‑saving rules, ensuring full alignment with legal and corporate requirements A key part of your role will be monitoring high‑risk operations, including gas hazards, pressure systems, confined spaces and fire/explosion risks, while ensuring ongoing compliance Additionally, you will plan and conduct site inspections, safety walks, and audits, identifying hazards and following up on corrective actions You will take ownership of risk management processes, including Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA), JSAs, and the review of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and Confined Space systems Moreover, you will play an active role in incident management - from reporting and investigation to root cause analysis and defining corrective and preventive actions You will coordinate and deliver safety trainings, including onboarding sessions, annual SHEQ training, toolbox talks and emergency response drills for employees and contractors In addition, you will support safe operations and project start-ups by contributing to PSSR activities, commissioning reviews, and partnering during authority inspections and audits As the local HSE point of contact, you will support audits and inspections during authority, regional, and group-level reviews, while contributing to ISO 45001 compliance and continuous improvement
