Job Description

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and compliance programs
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations while implementing corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, OSHA principles, and applicable international HSE standards
- Organize employee HSE training, emergency preparedness drills, fire safety activities, and awareness programs
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, audit records, and coordinate with regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Promote a strong workplace safety culture and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Safety, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani labor legislation, occupational safety regulations, and OSHA/international HSE standards
- Experience conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, and safety audits
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage risks and corrective actions
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian and relevant HSE certifications are considered an advantage
Nice to have
- Experience working in international or multinational companies
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- Experience supporting office, construction, installation, or technical operational environments
- Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability initiatives
