Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director to join our growing Property Management team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for a high-profile, mixed-use commercial portfolio across the North of England, working with institutional investors, pension funds, and private clients.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead the delivery of a data-led, customer-focused property management service, ensuring assets are performing at their highest potential while delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of multi-let commercial assets (office, retail, industrial, mixed-use)
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including facilities management, finance, surveying, and ESG specialists
  • Take full ownership of asset performance, ensuring properties are:
    • Safe, compliant, and well-maintained
    • Competitive and market-leading
    • Delivering a modern occupier experience
  • Oversee service charge budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and transparency
  • Drive ESG initiatives and support carbon reduction strategies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Contribute to business development, pitches, and client retention strategies

Qualifications

  • MRICS qualified
  • Proven experience managing large, complex commercial portfolios
  • Strong track record in team leadership and people management
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with institutional or pension fund clients
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify value-add opportunities
  • Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress within a leading firm
