Logistics Specialist (Driver)

Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 / hour
Description
Responsibilities
- Operate medium-duty vehicles (Box truck, flat bed, cargo van, pickup truck) to deliver goods, equipment, or materials locally.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (e.g., brakes, lights, oil) to ensure safety and compliance with CA regulations.
- Manually load/unload or operate forklifts/pallet jacks to move cargo, ensuring loads are secured.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and cargo paperwork.
- Adhere to all California highway safety laws and company safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Additional ad-hoc tasks may be assigned, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required, in addition to at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid California Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a company vehicle as needed for local material transport.
- Must be able to sit for long periods, stand, walk, and lift/carry heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) regularly.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Supply Chain, or a closely related field.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
