Job Description

Are you a natural team player, passionate about scaffolding and looking for a new challenge? Then apply for our new position as Scaffolding Engineer at Doka Egypt Join our engineering team in Cairo and contribute to dynamic projects across Saudi Arabia, where your expertise will help shape impactful construction innovation in a diverse and rapidly developing market.

As a Scaffolding Engineer your main responsibilities comprise:

  • Preparing scaffolding drawings for quotation and execution (shop drawings)
  • Conducting structural analyses of scaffolding based on accepted local standards
  • Generating material lists to support quotations and deliveries
  • Providing on-site technical support when necessary (Office and site tasks ratio: 75% office – 25% site)
  • Coordinating closely with Business Development Manager Scaffolding & Safety regarding technical issues and scaffolding activities
  • Other tasks upon request of Business Development Manager Scaffolding & Safety

 

Qualifications

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Experience in access scaffolding for at least 3 years
  • Civil Engineering / Technical qualification
  • Ringlock design experience is a must
  • Advanced CAD knowledge and experience
  • 3D CAD knowledge is a plus
  • Site experience (Assembly/Dismantling)
  • Previous experience with contractor (with scaffolding execution) is a plus
  • 3D CAD knowledge is a mandatory
  • Revit Knowledge is a plus
