Description: Secretary for Faciliites and Operation Departments the 2026/2027 School Year
Job Summary:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of three to five years of successful secretarial, executive administrative, facilities, operations, or business office experience, preferably in a public school district environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in technology systems and productivity software through certifications, training credentials, or documented experience in:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) productivity and analytics tools used to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, communication, data analysis, scheduling, and operational management
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Spreadsheet development and analytics
- Database management
- Scheduling systems
- Electronic document management systems
- Report generation and presentation development
- Ability to analyze operational data and prepare detailed reports and summaries for administration
- Knowledge of New Jersey public school purchasing, operational procedures, and compliance requirements preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
