Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is the not-for-profit organization that manages the spectacular Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by the City of Fort Worth, the state-of-the-art arena opened in November 2019 and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Purchasing Supervisor. This person is responsible for executing a wide variety of warehouse activities, including the receiving, storing, inventory management, and distribution of paper goods, fresh and frozen foods, as well as prepackaged and/or finished items.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively supervise other team members to ensure that all Food and Beverage standards are being followed and carried out.
  • Assists the Warehouse and Purchasing Manager with ensuring that all tasks are being completed by warehouse team members.
  • Ability and willingness to address and correct any issues that would impact guest services (external and internal) and the standards set in the Food & Beverage department.
  • Bring any performance-related issues by warehouse team members to the attention of the Warehouse and Purchasing Manager.
  • Assists the Warehouse and Purchasing Manager with ensuring that all transfers are being correctly logged, printed, and posted in a timely manner so that the warehouse team members can fill out the transfer orders and expeditiously drop product off.
  • Ability to address and correct any issues with transfers or requested product that would impact guest services (external and internal) and the standards set in the Food & Beverage department.
  • Bring any performance-related issues regarding fulfilling and responding to requisitions by warehouse team members to the attention of the Warehouse and Purchasing Manager.
  • Helps maintain inventory for quality and accuracy
  • Practices proper use of the computer database for transfers, invoices, and inventory control
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper receiving of inventory from vendors and stocking of products in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse by staff.
  • Oversee the pulling of products and distribution to various departments and areas in a timely manner
  • Ensures all products are properly stored, rotated and dated in accordance with state and arena policies by staff
  • Helps maintain inventory for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain quality service by following the organization's standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Practice proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment in and around the arena
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to internal and external guests
  • Be comfortable and familiar with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as assist guests
  • Follow and enforce policies associated with the safe service of all alcoholic beverages
  • Work with counterparts of the operation to ensure event standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of previous warehouse experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a similar capacity preferred
  • Ideal candidates will have worked in a warehouse environment previously, handled receiving and/or distribution along with inventory management.
  • Previous experience in high-volume, complex food service operations; sports and/ or entertainment venue preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of receiving, storing, and inventory are preferred
  • English reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math skills required
  • Ability to operate motorized vehicles and warehouse equipment strongly preferred
  • Keyboarding skills and computer proficiency with software knowledge, including MS Office and Excel
  • Superior internal and external customer service experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including � nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
  • Employees will be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees will be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
