Job Description
JOB GOAL:
To work with the Principal in carrying out the school's academic and behavior programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Teaching Certificate
- Masters Degree and Principal Certificate preferred
- Three years successful teaching experience
- Documented evidence of successful leadership experience
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and to bend and lift 25lbs
- Must pass a background clearance
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 218 days; 11 months
COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
BENEFITS: As per QCUSD District policy
REPORTS TO: Principal
EVALUATION: Initial evaluation to be completed no later than ninety (90) days after first day of work; thereafter, annually by supervisor.
HOURS: 40 hours per week, and may require longer hours - Monday-Friday
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not to be limited to, the following:
- Manage the disciplinary program for all students
- Assist in the development of curriculum and special projects
- Monitor, supervise, and direct extracurricular activities
- Assist the principal with facilities maintenance
- Assist in managing Special Education Programs
- Assist and supervise standardized testing
- Support the principal in leading the implementation of the school improvement goals
- Monitor and implement campus safety policies and procedures
- Develop and foster community connections that will enhance the educational experience of all students
- Implement all School Board Policies and Procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
