Job Description
Summary:
Electrical Engineers are responsible for the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical building systems for our Community Sector. Think environments like Civic Centers/Buildings, Cultural Centers/Buildings, K-12, Higher Education, etc. Depending on experience level, individuals may perform engineering calculations, prepare and review design documents, coordinate with project teams, manage tasks or projects, provide technical leadership, mentor others, and support business development activities. All team members are expected to uphold a client-centric mindset, demonstrate quality and integrity, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously learning environment.

Position Summary:
Independently performs intermediate electrical design tasks, prepares design documents, coordinates with internal and external partners, and may mentor less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calculations and design with minimal supervision.
Prepare and modify plans, reports, and technical documents.
Review shop drawings for compliance.
Guide junior designers and provide technical support.
Participate in business development and client coordination.
Support limited project management and coordination tasks.
Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and design tools.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
6+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and design principles.
MEP/Construction Industry experience
FE and PE completion stongly preferred (Required for EOR's)
Ability to lead teams to complete tasks or projects
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards required. Knowledge applicable to a range of practices, project or program types.
High technical aptitude: ability to learn, understand and utilize various systems and processes.
Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and engineering design software applicable to your discipline or focus.
Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.

Commitment to accuracy and quality.
Collaboration and receptiveness to feedback.
