As a Multi-Skilled Operator at our Albian site, you'll put your expertise to work on various heavy machinery while building your career alongside professionals who value safety, quality, and supporting each other every shift. With a century of construction experience behind us, we're looking for operators who want to be part of what comes next.

FLINT is hiring Multiskilled Operators for a permanent role in Fort McMurray, AB, starting May 2026. Enjoy a 7/7 schedule, camp accommodations and open to local candidates, flights from Calgary or Edmonton, and benefits after 300+ hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4000 hours on D6+ dozer or 2,000 hours tailings/cell experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Cell Construction preferred, willing to work on different pieces of equipment and perform ground work.
  • Able to train on new equipment when requested.
  • Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
