Position Title: Director of Student Nutrition

Location: District Office/Office of Operations

Pay Scale/Salary Class/Days: Administrative Pay Scale / Salary Class 37 / 240 Days

Requirements:  
Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, hotel/restaurant management, business administration or a related field. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Five years of related experience, including supervisory experience. Must possess and maintain certification as a ServSafe Manager. Must possess and maintain the ten hour Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification. Student Nutrition Association membership is preferred. May require a valid state driver's license.

Description:  
This position is responsible for planning, directing and supervising the District's student nutrition program in accordance with the policies established by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the District. Oversees all department functions, including staffing, program planning and accountability, resource allocation and management, procurement, financial management, facilities planning, nutrition education, food safety and marketing. This position is under limited supervision.
