Job Description:

Works with academic departments to tailor coaching to student needs and institutional goals. Provides direct support to students through personalized coaching sessions, focusing on skills such as time management, study strategies, and critical thinking. Develops and manages initiatives aimed at improving students' academic skills and personal development, including workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions. Coordinates with faculty and educational support services to integrate academic coaching within the broader educational framework. Evaluates the effectiveness of academic coaching strategies and services, recommending enhancements to increase student success and retention. Measures learning outcomes and identifies students at academic risk, facilitating early intervention strategies. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge in educational methodologies, academic coaching techniques, and student development theories [Required]
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff and students in a dynamic educational environment [Required]
• Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of students, faculty, and staff [Required]
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines [Required]
• High level of self-motivation and initiative, capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment [Required]
• Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships across various levels of an academic institution [Required]
• Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in all interactions with students and colleagues [Required]
• Competent in using technology to enhance educational outcomes, including familiarity with learning management systems, student information systems, and customer relationship management systems [Required]
• Cultural competency, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural educational setting [Required]
• Knowledge of technological systems as they apply to instructional, administrative, and workplace needs, including institutional student information system, online learning management system, Microsoft Office 365 suite [Required]

• Demonstrated accomplishments in a student-support role at an institution of higher learning [Preferred]

• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
• in education or related field

Work Experience:
• 3+ years' experience in teaching, tutoring, and/or requisite higher education [Required]

Additional Information:
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:

- Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years' experience in teaching, tutoring, and/or requisite higher education OR

- Master's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in teaching, tutoring, and/or requisite higher education

Pay Range:

$39,975.50 - $74,354.40
