Your Opportunity 

We’re looking for an Associate DBA to join our Data Services Team.

In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users. 

You’ll also make an impact by: 

  • Define and enforce architectural standards for SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other RDBMS to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Maintain and enhance the operational stability of all database systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address customer needs, ensuring that database services align with business objectives.
  • Manage collaboration and communication within the database team and across other teams to ensure seamless integration of database services

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you’ll have: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in supporting large complex 24x7 application environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS and SQL problem solving & scripting skills is essential.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Analysis Services and SSIS.
  • A solid background in the management of Oracle DBMS and Oracle Exadata.
  • Excellent understanding of performance tuning
  • Ability to work on call after hours and weekend in a rostered 24x7 environment.
  • Curiosity and self-drive to continuously learn new techniques and tools to extract value from data.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: 

  • Experience in the financial services or payments sector.
  • Experience working within PCI-DSS compliant environment.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and have worked in a product led organization.
  • MCSA and OCP Certification.
