The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a Coordinator of Special Projects in our Learning and Academic Affairs department. The Coordinator of Special Projects coordinates, oversees, and manages student-focused initiatives in the Learning and Academic Affairs division, collaborating with external partners and various college departments. The Coordinator maintains and organizes data for special projects and unique student populations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and streamlined reporting. Key responsibilities for this position include: Prepares reports, presentations, and documents for College Special Projects. Coordinates the reporting needs for various Academic Initiatives. Maintains, tracks, analyzes, and prepares reports for specific student population data sets as it relates to designated grant outcomes. Maintains and updates databases, ensuring accurate student and project records while identifying and correcting discrepancies. Assists the Director of Special Projects in planning, executing, and evaluating a diverse array of academic projects. Facilitates collaboration among college administration, faculty, and staff to enhance academic initiatives and ensure effective communication. Works closely with external community partners to identify, develop, and support educational programs aligned with institutional goals. Leads the planning and execution of student-centered events such as lectures, symposia, and specialized course/programs. Contributes to the development of career-aligned academic experiences and community engagement initiatives. Travels, as required. Other duties related to the job description and as assigned by the Director of Special Projects. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Hours per week: 35
