Insurance & Accounting Support with Dutch
Job Description
Insurance management:
Administrative follow-up of local claim files (e.g. damages to company cars, barriers, gates, infrastructure, or pollution related to mill installations).
Acting as intermediary between insurance companies, in-house brokers, and external insurance brokers.
Communication with stakeholders (claimants, claim managers, brokers, external firms, experts).
Linking claim files to accounting by allocating costs to the correct cost centers/WBS (SAP).
Assisting in handling claim cases and reviewing, approving, or disputing invoices.
Maintaining statistical data on claims by various classifications (responsible party, claimant, policy, type of claim, etc.).
Administration:
Handling expired bank guarantees and ensuring proper accounting treatment.
Performing administrative tasks related to sales to employees (reporting to HR, monitoring late payments).
Issuing non-steel sales invoices (e.g. for certain materials or re-invoicing of services/staff costs to group & non-group entities).
Supporting monthly closing activities with required data.
Analyzing old outstanding balance sheet items and proposing corrective actions.
Providing data for ad hoc requests and participating in team meetings.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or Accounting.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken).
Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote), SAP (ACE, ACE BI), and BPM.
High level of accuracy, responsibility, and result orientation.
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and provide practical solutions.
Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
