At Auren Personas we work from the Recruitment & Executive Search division and we are dedicated to providing specialized Human Resources consulting services.
We are currently collaborating with MERAK, a leading HVAC industry company based in Madrid, which is looking to add a Product Life & Data Manager to its team.
The Central Data Manager ensures the integrity, usability and consistency of engineering product data across sites by coordinating and executing data management activities within Windchill PLM and its integration with NX and related publishing/visualization services. The role provides hands-on support to engineering teams, resolves data issues through structured ticket handling, and drives standardization, training and continuous improvement of PLM data processes.
About the Role:
Maintain high-quality engineering product data in Windchill (structure, states, relationships between WT-Parts, CAD and documents).
Support and troubleshoot Windchill and NX–Windchill integration issues, including publishing/Neutral Data (JT/STEP) generation problems.
Support Change Management execution (ECR/ECN/ECT) by investigating errors, release blockers and workflow issues; coordinate escalations where required.
Create, document, track and follow up incidents/requests; ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
Perform regression/validation tests for tool updates (Windchill/NX/WGM/workers) and contribute to stable rollouts.
Provide structured user support (incl. hotline-type queries) and develop/maintain training materials and best-practice guides.
Drive cross-site standardization of PLM/data management practices; identify gaps and propose improvements to processes and configurations.
Requirements:
Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) with strong affinity to engineering data and processes.
Practical experience with Windchill (PLM/PDM) and product data lifecycle management.
Working understanding of NX–Windchill integration and publishing concepts (representations/Neutral Data).
Experience supporting structured workflows (e.g., change/release processes) and resolving operational issues.
Strong analytical skills and ability to document investigations and solutions clearly.
Fluent English (written/spoken) for global coordination.
