We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Head of People to lead the next evolution of our People function across Australia and the Philippines. This is a broad leadership role responsible for Employee Relations, People Operations, and Learning & Capability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is energised by building modern people experiences, leading transformation, and partnering closely with senior leaders to drive business impact.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how Lendi Group develops, engages, and empowers its people as we continue to scale.

Job Description

Strategic People Leadership & Organisational Effectiveness

  • Lead and develop a high-performing People team across People Partnering, Employee Relations, Operations, and Learning & Capability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives on workforce strategy, leadership effectiveness, culture, and change.
  • Drive organisational capability uplift initiatives that strengthen performance, leadership capability, and employee growth across the business.
  • Partner with leaders to shape scalable, high-performing team structures and ways of working that support business growth.

Leadership Development & Capability Uplift

  • Own and evolve the company-wide Learning & Capability strategy, with a strong focus on leadership development and future capability building.
  • Design and implement leadership frameworks, capability programs, and development pathways that support leaders at all levels.
  • Build a modern learning culture that empowers continuous growth, high performance, and adaptability.
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with leaders to embed targeted development initiatives across teams and functions.

Employee Relations

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance on complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, proactive support, and evidence-based people insights.
  • Lead the development and evolution of people policies, frameworks, and practices that are scalable, modern, and values-aligned.

People Systems & AI-Enabled Transformation

  • Lead the transformation of our People Operations function into an AI-native, digitally enabled capability.
  • Drive the evolution of people systems, workflows, and employee support experiences through smart, human-centred automation.
  • Design human + AI ways of working that reduce friction, improve service delivery, and create better employee experiences at scale.
  • Promote the responsible and ethical use of AI within the People function, ensuring technology enhances — not replaces — human connection.

Qualifications

  • Experience in senior People & Culture leadership roles within fast-paced, high-growth, or scaling environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading People functions spanning business partnering, operations, employee relations, and capability/learning.
  • Strong capability in leadership development, and workforce capability uplift.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape people strategies that drive business performance and cultural outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of Australian employment law; experience supporting the Philippines or distributed teams is highly regarded.
  • A progressive and commercially minded approach to People leadership, with a passion for modern organisational thinking and future-of-work practices.
  • Strong interest in how AI, technology, and digital tools can elevate the employee and leadership experience.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building capability.
