Technical Assistant III OP1503 Job Objective Set up, convert and adjust complex machines from a wide range of different technologies in the relevant area of operation in their entirety Instruct and train employees Carry out regular communication with the responsible persons (e.g. production, technical service, IF service, quality, logistics) Duties and Responsibilities A Setting up, conversion, checking, running in 1 Set up, convert and adjust a high number of operating equipment / production facilities from a wide range of different technologies across divisions and units as an interface with service (technical service or internal factory) 2 Adjust (align and teach) work programs for selected processes and system components (e.g. in painting systems, press-fit machines, AOI systems, welding systems, mounting systems, axis systems or robot cells) within permitted limits as part of TPMD 3 Carry out regular communication with the responsible persons (e.g. production, technical service, IF service) 4 Create sample parts following the occurrence of faults and review the parts by visual test characteristics and/or with instruments and gages in consultation with appropriate departments 5 Observe and verify the process parameters in ongoing production, modify parameter settings within TPMD specifications when tolerance limits are exceeded, inform the appropriate departments if required 6 Implement, monitor and support maintenance and servicing, as well as implementing quality assurance measures 7 Break in tools and equipment in the trial stage, during start of production and for initial sampling 8 Perform quality controls and set-up release according to SQS instructions (operator self-check) 9 Ensure documentation (e.g. check lists, recordings, process parameters, TPMD) 10 Change wear parts, e.g. stamps on tools during ongoing series production 11 Instruct employees in process issues, carry out independent troubleshooting and implement measures to remedy defects 12 Take care of special production-specific measures (e.g. conversion / moving / upgrade in production) 13 Provide support in the planning and implementation of sampling in cooperation with those responsible 14 Implement deviation analyses and create 5 Why analyses 15 Introduce, implement and follow up production-relevant measures 16 Provide support to ensure that the agreed production targets in the area of responsibility are achieved in terms of quality, cost, schedule, service and cooperation 17 Monitor service jobs by external suppliers B Instruct, train, measure 1 Instruct and train staff in terms of quality, machinery, tools and equipment, incl. training regarding the problem solving process 2 Train and support specialists, plant operators and assembly technicians 3 Record quantity and reject figures, incl. bookings in the ERP system 4 Fill out the appropriate inspection charts with regard to the machinery 5 Coordinate TPMD tasks C Other Activities 1 Execute job-hopping activities on the machinery and substituting for employees for the purpose of breaks 2 Instruct and support employees with less experience or lower qualification (junior technicians, trainees and assistants), as well as monitoring the carrying-out of the work Carrying out other tasks related to this position (including examining as well as complying with industrial safety and environmental protection measures pertaining to the scope of duties) Job Profile / Requirements a) profession / education b) job related experience Professional education or special diploma More than 2 up to 3 years
