Job Description

Since 2012, Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. With a focus on personalized, in-home care, we are committed to assisting those who have dedicated their careers to these vital roles. As a fast-growing, leading provider, we proudly serve patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

If you’re a compassionate individual who puts patients first and thrives in a mission-driven, collaborative environment, we want you to join our team! Apply today and help us continue delivering exceptional care to those who need it most.

Join our dynamic healthcare team serving communities across New Mexico. We are seeking experienced Travel RNs to provide high-acuity patient care with flexible scheduling and ongoing contract opportunities across multiple service areas.

Position Details:

Minimum of three (3) 12-hour shifts per week

6-week contract assignments

$65/hour + mileage reimbursement

Schedules provided in 6-week increments

Opportunity to extend every 6 weeks based on operational needs

Mileage reimbursement is provided for qualifying travel assignments:

Mileage begins after 50 one-way miles. $0.41 per mile for the first 500 miles, $0.21 per mile after 500 miles.

Travel & Scheduling Expectations:

This position offers a higher pay rate because it requires full flexibility and availability to support staffing needs across various locations throughout New Mexico.

Travel nurses may be assigned to multiple patients and communities during a contract period, including travel between regions based on operational needs and patient coverage demands.

Please note: Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, day shifts, nights, and holidays.

Weekly schedules may vary and are not guaranteed to remain consistent

Assignments are based on areas with the greatest patient care need

Travel nurses do not maintain permanent patient assignments

Nurses may temporarily support patient homes until permanent coverage is secured, then rotate to a different assignment as needed

Transition Opportunity:

If travel nursing demand decreases, contractors may have the opportunity to transition into a standard 1099 nursing role, including:

Picking up high-acuity shifts

Managing a lower-acuity caseload

Please note: Pay rate and mileage structure may change upon transition from the travel contract role.
