Description
Friday-Sunday 5am-530pm
A Production Runner drives customer success by ensuring print jobs and documents are delivered and scanned to various assigned slots and locations throughout the production floor. A Production Runner must be flexible and well organized, and pay close attention to detail.
A Production Runner drives customer success by ensuring print jobs and documents are delivered and scanned to various assigned slots and locations throughout the production floor. A Production Runner must be flexible and well organized, and pay close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pull appropriate print jobs and documents by priority in a timely manner
- Transport documents to appropriate location within the production floor
- Read and comprehend job paperwork to ensure proper transport location
- When needed scan print jobs or documents to the next step in the process and stage those jobs in the proper slots for continued processing
- Others tasks as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Must be dependable, flexible and have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice
- Entry level computer experience required
- Will need to know who to use a pallet jack
- Attention to Detail: Performs tasks and completes responsibilities according to prescribed standards
- Change Management: Rapidly adapts to unexpected situations and/or obstacles, while remaining composed and focused
- Communication Skills: Listens to understand and asks clarifying questions when written messages are unclear
