Job Description
• Job Title: Bookkeeping Specialist
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST
• Position: Full Time
• Work Modality: Remote
• Experience: 2–3 years
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in English (B2+); clear verbal and written communication
• The Role: As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will manage monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients using standardized workflows and cloud-based systems. Your work forms the foundation of our client services and ensures financial records are accurate, organized, and ready for review.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Categorize transactions and maintain clean financial records
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare monthly financials for review
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes (as applicable)
• Maintain organized documentation and task tracking
• Communicate proactively when issues arise
• What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (multi-client experience preferred)
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience (QuickBooks Online Certified preferred)
• Solid understanding of reconciliations and month-end close
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines consistently
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and professional home workspace
• Tools You’ll Use: QuickBooks Online, Karbon, Dext, Gusto, and other cloud-based systems
