Job Description

FloQast is building the next generation of accounting automation powered by AI. We are looking for engineering leaders who believe that AI fundamentally changes how software is designed, written, and operated. This role is for technical leaders who still think like engineers.If your primary skill is running meetings, managing Jira tickets, and coordinating roadmaps, this role will not be a good fit. If you enjoy debugging distributed systems, reviewing architecture, mentoring strong engineers, and shipping production systems using AI-assisted development, we would love to talk

Our teams are comprised of technical force multipliers who prioritize shipping over syncing, leveraging advanced tools like Cursor and Claude Code to compress the distance between idea and production. Whether you are leading a team or architecting distributed services, you will be building a world where intelligent agents and LLM reasoning handle the complexity of global finance. If you believe that AI is the ultimate leverage for high-performing engineers to solve the industry's hardest problems, you belong here.

Location: San Jose, CA OR Los Angeles office - 3 days per week on-site (hybrid)
