JOB.TITLE Clerk Grade: 9/10 Annual Salary Range: $129,464 - $142,665 plus superannuation Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time Location: McKell Building - Sydney, flexible working conditions available About the Role The Portfolio, Management and Assurance team is looking for a Senior Assurance Analyst to join their Portfolio Assurance team. This position will lead the planning and scheduling of assurance reviews for projects across Department of Customer. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills; project management skills and the ability to prioritise work; and strong analysis and report writing skills. Key accountabilities include: Lead meetings with stakeholders across all DCS for the purpose of planning and scheduling assurance review activities to align with the requirements of each project. Lead the delivery of assurance reviews, including drafting clear and concise Terms of Reference for each review, factoring in project specific conditions and sponsor concerns to optimise the assurance process for the project. Write Assurance Reports with a focus on attention to detail . Gather and prepare information resulting from assurance reviews, to identify performance issues, risks, and provide recommendations and expert advice to senior Executives and governance committees to support informed decision making. Establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure the adoption and improvements to relevant polices and guidelines and that project information and reporting is updated on a regular basis. About you To be successful in this role: You will have experience working on projects with a project officer / manager background. Experience in drafting detailed reports—including data analysis and executive summaries, to drive insights and inform senior management's decision-making processes. Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders at all levels to achieve outcomes. You are detail focused, self-motivated and able to work in a complex environment with competing priorities. High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands.
