About Us This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our newly established Actuarial Services team, where you will have the opportunity to create processes and help establish the team culture and ways of working. Understand more about SIRA – here at https://www.sira.nsw.gov.au Your responsibilities will include: Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans Manage the administration of contracts with actuarial consultants, including overseeing the process for engaging, monitoring (timelines and financials) and invoicing Provide a range of administrative and support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the Chief Actuary’s and/or team’s time Assist with the management of the Chief Actuary’s diary appointments, records and correspondence, travel arrangements, and scheduling and supporting meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda Gather, collate and provide background information and information for reports for the Chief Actuary, to expected standards and within required timeframes, to support informed decision making and planning Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible. About you: You are highly organised and take pride in bringing structure and clarity to a busy, fast‑moving environment by helping projects, meetings and priorities run smoothly. You are a strong communicator and able to prepare correspondence, briefings and meeting materials that are clear, accurate and tailored to the audience.
