Position Summary
The Compensation Specialist, under general direction of the compensation team, performs varied administrative and specialized tasks in support of the day-to-day administration of Life Time's compensation programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of daily operational activities, including populating incentive plans, approving compensation changes in Workday, addressing Tier 1 compliance issues and addressing communication follow-ups
- Confirms accuracy and integrity of all data entered in Workday and ensures information is entered on a timely basis
- Defines jobs by writing job descriptions and ensuring all current job descriptions are housed in the appropriately format
- Responds to all levels of employees for problem resolution of compensation related inquires and concerns in a timely manner
- Performs data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies
- Delivers routine monthly reporting and responds from basic to intermediate ad hoc report requests
- Provides assistance and supports others on difficult assignments or problems as directed
- Monitors, writes and distributes emails in shared mailboxes
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in Human Resources or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Organize, prioritize and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Requirements
- 0 - 6 months of Compensation Experience
- Experience with Workday or HRIS systems
Pay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $23.50 and pays up to $31.75, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
