Job Description

Sunday – Thursday plus 1 in 5 Fridays 10:30 - 19:00 with an alternative rest day when working a Friday.

A satisfying role

Working closely with your transport colleagues, you’ll use multiple systems to analyse route data, plan routes and improve route allocations for our 24hr/6-day operation. Adhering to the Working Time Directive for drivers and vehicle availability, you’ll balance multiple needs and work to often tight deadlines, while maintaining operational efficiency and customer service targets.

What you bring to the mix

If you’re able to analyse data and identify trends and improvements, you’ve got what it takes to be brilliant in this role. You’ll also need:

  • exceptional planning and organisational skills
  • to be able to deal with unexpected challenges and create innovative solutions
  • excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • to be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel

Ideally some knowledge and experience of using planning software would also be beneficial.
