We are looking for a qualified EV Technician I (Entry-Level / Ground Support).
The EV Technician I role is an entry-level field position supporting EV charging infrastructure construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in construction or EV infrastructure, with hands-on exposure to jobsite operations, safety practices, and field teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general site labor and ground support activities on EV construction sites
- Assist foremen, equipment operators, and skilled technicians as directed
- Support trenching, conduit handling, backfilling, and site cleanup
- Stage materials and maintain jobsite organization
- Support electrical and civil crews with daily tasks
- Follow site safety plans, JHA/JSA requirements, and PPE protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- No prior EV experience required
- Construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation required
- OSHA-10 certification preferred (can be obtained after hire)
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed
- Bilingual: English / Spanish
