Functieomschrijving

As a Key Account Manager at Securitas Technology, you act as the primary contact for our existing clients and support all requests related to technological security solutions. You are responsible for generating revenue through relationship management, acquisition of new clients, upselling and cross-selling of existing accounts, and identifying and developing new business opportunities within your market segment.

You initiate and manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and booking client meetings, to delivering professional presentations tailored to their business context, understanding and analyzing their specific needs, translating these into customized solutions using the latest technology offerings, and leading final negotiations towards successful deal closure.

You identify market potential and qualify target accounts through the development of strategic account plans and annual business plans, focusing on long-term partnership building rather than transactional sales.

In close collaboration with the customer, you map the current security infrastructure and workflows. You proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks, and suggest optimized solutions using the existing and future Securitas Technology portfolio. This includes ICT-based systems (e.g., servers, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, networking) and integrated security systems (e.g., video surveillance, access control).

Your proposals are well-substantiated and take into account budget constraints, cost and risk reduction, scalability, and future-readiness. You play a key role in business development initiatives, as well as contract renewals and revisions, always aiming to deliver added value and innovation.

You work in close collaboration with technical consultants, project managers, and service teams to ensure a seamless implementation process. You also actively participate in internal meetings and pipeline reviews, contributing to the company's sales strategy and customer-centric culture.

You report directly to the Sales Manager and are based in our headquarters in Diegem, while frequently traveling to visit clients throughout Belgium.

Your Profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent through relevant sales experience.
  • You have a proven track record of at least 5 years in consultative B2B sales, ideally within the technology or service industry.
  • You have a solid understanding of ICT solutions such as servers, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, and networking, with brands like HP and Cisco considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with security technologies such as video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and brands like NEDAP, Axis, Milestone, and Genetec is highly valued.
  • You are results-oriented, dynamic, and have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • You demonstrate strong commercial acumen and are able to connect business value with technical features in a way that resonates with clients.
  • You are skilled in translating complex solutions into clear, client-friendly language, and understand how to build long-term client trust.
  • Your dynamic personality, professional presentation, persuasive skills, and negotiation abilities are key assets.
  • You combine commercial flair and customer focus with technical insight, creating win-win solutions.

  • You are fluent in French (native level), with a good command of Dutch and English.
