POSITION OVERVIEW

Sundance Institute is seeking a Temporary Manager, Collab Content & Operations to oversee the daily execution and optimization of Sundance Collab�s digital products. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating multiple systems and evolving operational priorities.

Working closely under the Associate Director, Collab, this role serves as a key liaison across Sundance Collab, supporting team operations, contractor coordination, content management, and technical workflows. The role supports continuity of operations during a period of organizational planning.

This temporary position works full time (40 hours per week) and is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue through Friday, August 14, 2026. This is a fully remote role that may be based out of any of our operating states and does not require any onsite work duties. Extended hours, including evenings and weekends will be required at key points to meet deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned.

Top priorities include but are not limited to�

  • Managing the institutional records and organization for all activity on Sundance Collab, including overseeing the Video Library.

  • Managing the daily operations for digital event delivery (courses, webinars, master classes), and overseeing post-production activities for self-paced courses.

  • Ensuring products are delivered to spec and that technical support staff are trained on new processes.

  • Administering and maintaining Sundance Collab platform content and operational workflows including QA/testing support and coordination with developers on issue resolution and feature rollouts.

  • Conducting routine reporting and assessments of digital projects.

  • Managing the process for setting up instructor contracts and processing invoices for payment, ensuring all administrative back-end tasks are completed on time.

  • Driving the implementation of scalable support systems, including automation and knowledge base development, to improve response efficiency.

  • Identifying opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements across Collab systems and processes.

  • Supporting the platform�s digital analytics strategy by tracking performance indicators and preparing department update decks.

  • Supporting the Marketing team with various related duties.

You have the following direct or transferable qualifications and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital operations, project coordination, process improvement, or related operational work.

  • Ability to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously while collaborating across teams to meet shared goals and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, AirTable, Asana, Zoom, Stripe, Netsuite, and CRM/Support tools (e.g., ZohoDesk).

  • Comfort and aptitude for conducting training and presentations to internal teams.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities with attention to detail.

  • A passion for independent storytelling and an understanding of the arts and culture nonprofit landscape.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
