Treatment Coordinator (Front Desk � Medicaid Side)
Dental Associates of North Alabama � Decatur & Children�s is a well-established practice that has proudly served the community for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This position is based on our Medicaid side/front desk, which is extremely busy and requires someone who thrives under pressure, stays organized, and provides excellent patient service.

Schedule
- Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 AM � 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM � 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in/out patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and manage high-volume patient appointments
- Present treatment plans and explain financial responsibilities
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (Medicaid experience preferred)
- Answer phones and handle patient inquiries efficiently
- Collect co-pays, balances, and payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Previous dental front desk or treatment coordinator experience required
- Experience with insurance verification (Medicaid experience is a plus)
- Dentrix experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on patient care
