Role Summary The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports Manufacturing Engineers by performing technical tasks related to design, testing, assembly, DOE and maintenance of equipment/systems. This role involves hands-on work with process optimization, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. What you’ll be doing As an integral part of the Manufacturing Engineering organization, you will be focused on: Assist Engineers in the design, development, and testing of Watson Marlow products. Perform assembly, calibration, and maintenance of equipment. Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues. Collect and analyze data from tests and prepare detailed reports. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and results. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals. Other duties as assigned. Who you’ll be working with All levels of the Devens Manufacturing organisation. This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role Associate degree in Engineering Technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent US Military experience/training required. 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical, or electronic systems. Proficiency with tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Experience analyzing production assembly and test equipment and processes and documenting modifications. Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred.
