Insurance Customer Service Representative
Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing existing clients, answering coverage questions, processing policy changes, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will play a key role in client retention, relationship building, and identifying opportunities to enhance coverage when appropriate.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in problem-solving, values accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
While this is primarily a customer service position, team members are expected to contribute to agency growth. Monthly performance goals will include identifying coverage gaps and generating a minimum level of cross-sell and referral activity.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook, CRM systems)

Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior customer service or insurance experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems
Licensing
Licensing is not required to apply for this position. However, once an offer is accepted, you will have 30 days to complete the required coursework and obtain your Property & Casualty and Life & Health producer licenses.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
- Provide clear explanations of coverage options and policy details
- Process endorsements, renewals, and documentation accurately
- Proactively review accounts to identify coverage gaps or additional needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in the agency management system
- Deliver a consistently positive and professional customer experience
