The Department of Political Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following session(s): 2026-2027 Regular Session FALL TERM Course Number, Section, and Name: POLS 111.3 (01) Politics Power, and Government Term and Course Dates: Term 1 (September 2 to December 7, 2026) CRN: 84084 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3:30pm to 4:20pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of an M.A. degree; but Ph.D. degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset. Course Number, Section, and Name: POLS 112.3 (01) Justice and Injustice in Politics and Law Term and Course Dates: Term 1 (September 2 to December 7, 2026) CRN: 80350 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am to 9:20am Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of an M.A. degree; but Ph.D. degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset. WINTER TERM Course Number, Section, and Name: POLS 110.3 (02) Understanding our Globalized World Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 6 to April 8, 2026) CRN: 31282 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3:30pm to 4:20pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of an M.A. degree; but Ph.D. degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset. A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
