The Gender, Sexualities, and Social Justice Program in the Department of Political Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following session(s): 2026-2027 Regular Session WINTER TERM Course Number, Section, and Name: GENS 112.3 (02) Introduction to Womens and Gender Studies Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 6 to April 8, 2026) CRN: 33059 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture Course Schedule: Tuesday 6:00pm – 8:50pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of an M.A. degree; but Ph.D. degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset. Course Number, Section, and Name: GENS 201.3 (02) Images of Gender and Sexuality in Popular Culture Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 6 to April 8, 2026) CRN: 33060 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture Course Schedule: Wednesday 6:00pm – 8:50pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 50 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of an M.A. degree; but Ph.D. degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset. A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
