SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDER VACANCY
TITLE I FUNDED SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER - HORIZON MIDDLE SCHOOL
SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL
 

Starting Date:
July 28, 2026
New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:
New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 27th
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years
Work Schedule: 
182 contracted work days

Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $62,244/year and the maximum salary is $78,372/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education, licensure, and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

  1. MA/MS from accredited college or university
  2. Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Social Worker
