CTE - Health Science Technology Teacher - Aledo High School 2026-2027 School Year

This position is for a CTE Health Science Technology teacher at Aledo High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Preferred Requirements:
CTE certified by Texas Education Agency or meet TEA's eligibility requirements for obtaining a CTE teacher certification.

Must have supervisor skills, be willing to work with high school students from multiple campuses, and be a self-starter.
 
Examples of licensed individuals that could potentially qualify for the Health Science Certificate: RN, pharmacy technician with pharmacy experience, athletic trainer, EMT.
Must at least hold an associate or more advanced degree from an institute of higher learning accredited or approved by an accrediting agency recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
 
Potential classes to be taught might include but not limited to are Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology

Must sponsor/co-sponsor a career and technology school association (HOSA), and will include some travel with students.
