Full-time Building Substitute Teacher

Full-time Building Substitute Teacher: Goddard Public Schools is seeking a Full-time Building Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Goddard Public Schools seeks individuals who can implement lesson plans as designed by the classroom teacher and build supportive, caring educational relationships with students and staff. Candidates interested in working in a collaborative and innovative environment with opportunities to develop their teaching skills are encouraged to apply. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and appropriate licensure/certification through the Kansas State Department of Education for the grade level(s) and subject area(s) served. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

 

• Implementing lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
• Supporting student learning and engagement
• Collaborating effectively with teachers, staff, and administrators
• Following district and building procedures and expectations
