Job Description

SUMMARY:
Elementary Math Instructional Coach and Interventionist

LICENSURE:
Current Illinois Elementary Professional Educator License (PEL)

ENDORSEMENT:
Preferable: Middle School Mathematics 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strong ability to use formative and summative data to diagnose and intervene to support student needs
  • Understanding of MTSS and steps needed to be taken to build a successful MTSS system
  • Works with staff and principal to provide math interventions 
  • Provides math interventions as assigned by building principal 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of content, curriculum, and pedagogy

Terms of Employment:
A normal 182 day teaching contract
Teacher on Special Assignment will be evaluated by building principal
