Hotel Gift Shop- Part Time

The Hollywood Beach Marriott is accepting applications to join our Gift Shop Attendant team!

• This position is mainly for Saturday and Sunday day position

We are perfectly positioned on the beach and the Boardwalk - offering our guests an impeccable location from which to explore the area. Our guests can also enjoy our Latitudes Restaurant, serving fresh Florida cuisine, and lounge around our oceanfront pool without taking a step.

Our Hotel Gift Shop Attendants provide retail service to guests in our gift shop as well as providing information on other property amenities to ensure an outstanding experience during their stay.

We offer Complimentary Parking and one Meal per per shift

Daily activities of our Hotel Gift Shop Attendants include tasks such as:

• Building rapport with our guests to not just meet, but exceed their needs.
• Maintaining and understanding of features/benefits of merchandise in the shop.
• Maintaining knowledge of resort activities, facilities, and amenities to ensure. personalized guest service.
• Accurately processing payments and following policies/procedures for shop revenue accounting.
• Following policies/procedures to ensure inventory controls.
• Maintaining neatness and cleanliness in the shop to maintain customer appeal.

A successful Hotel Gift Shop Attendant will have effective communication skills, must have math and computer skills and have the ability to multi-task and problem solve.

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or other customer service experience is preferred for our Hotel Gift Shop Attendants, but not required. We are absolutely willing to train someone with a passion for guest service!

Part-time hours are available only. We do ask for flexibility in scheduling, including holidays and weekends.
