Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager in overseeing daily parts department operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory control and maintain accurate parts records to reduce shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
- Support the team in handling parts orders, returns, and warranty claims in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to meet customer needs and enhance overall satisfaction.
- Train and supervise parts department staff to ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase parts sales and improve department profitability.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a parts management or assistant management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software related to parts operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to parts management are a plus.
