Assistant Coach - Dance Team

Assistant Varsity Dance Coach:

The Wayzata Dance Team is looking for assistant coaches. The Season will begin on October 26, 2026 and goes until mid-February. We are looking to fill positions at every level of our program and will place candidates based on experience and expertise. 

Must be available to coach at least 3 days per week including competitions on Thursday nights and Saturdays. Can also be available up to 6 days per week. Practice time is 3:45pm-6:15pm during the week and 9am-12pm on Saturdays at WHS. Ideal candidates are there for the entire practice time. 

Prior knowledge in dance is preferred including choreography, formations, technique training, and conditioning for dancers. 

Candidates will be contacted by the Head Coach for an interview after applications are received and reviewed.

Selection Procedure: Position is open only to WEA employees through 519/26. If no internal candidates are selected, external candidates will be considered. Position will remain open until filled.

Note: This position is not benefit eligible. Stipend range is $100 - $9,168
