Position:Family Service Coordinator (Edustaff)
Location: Lamphere Early Childhood Center
Date Available: 05/13/2026
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30-5:30 pm., 12 Months
Pay Rate: $25/hr +, based on education and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field .
- 1-3 years of related work experience, preferred.
- Certified in CPR/First Aid.
- Certified in Non-Crisis Intervention.
- Proficiency in, or willing to learn, Microsoft and Google Suite applications, Arux, MiECC, MICR and MIStar.
- Customer service oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to perform job tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines accurately and precisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with staff and the community.
- Ability to recognize problem areas and seek solutions to increase efficiency.
- Demonstrate confidentiality for student privacy reasons.
- Able to withstand the strain of the position.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate family engagement events and activities that promote parent participation and community involvement.
- Support families through the GSRP enrollment process.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate monthly parent meetings to provide resources, information, and opportunities for family engagement.
- Coordinate services, resources, and essential supports for families in need by connecting them with appropriate community agencies and programs.
- Assist parents with the completion of DHS and other required forms upon request.
- Collaborate effectively with Lamphere Early Childhood staff, administrators, and program reviewers to support program goals and compliance requirements.
- Assist with preparation and coordination for Open House and other program events.
- Provide courteous, respectful, and professional support to parents, families, staff, and community members.
- Organize food, materials, and vendor coordination for in-house visitors and meetings.
- Organize, collect, and maintain records of payments and permissions related to field trips and program activities.
- Create and maintain class lists in MICR and reach out to families regarding immunization status.
REPORTS TO: Early Childhood Director
Employment is contingent upon disclosure in accordance with PA-189.
Ability to withstand the strains and successfully manage the responsibilities of the position.
Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality, with a strong record of consistent attendance. Regular and dependable presence during school hours is essential.
